Born with the name Fratelli Donà, the business was funded in Murano in 1937 by Arnaldo Donà, Alberto Donà’s father
In 1992 the company became the today’s Componenti Donà, managed by Alberto Donà and his family: Alberto, Loredana, Andrea and Davide.Davide followed in the footsteps of his father becoming a master glassmaker, while Andrea handled the Commercial Direction of the Company.
In the first years, the production was only composed by components of chandeliers, hence the name “Componenti Donà”. As time goes by, thanks to the development of glass processing techniques, we now produce a wide range of luxury and illumination products, sculpture, classic and modern vases with an important artistic value.
This allowed us to collaborate with international interior designers and to improve more and more our ability to work on customers’ projects. Finally, our growth enabled us to work with important brands as Donghia, Fendi, Venini, Axo Light, Cornelio Cappellini, Veronese, Dale Chihuly, Kohler Interiors and Barovier and Toso. The results can be noticed worldwide: we have a lot of products exposed in China, USA and India.
